Code of Conduct As a member of Redefined, you are expected to read the guild code of conduct in its entirety and to abide by its rules. Direct any questions you may have to your class leader or a guild officer.
Respect your fellow players; treat them like you expect to be treated. This holds true for all your Redefined guild mates and all of the Blackhand community. As an individual with a Redefined guild tag you represent the guild, so please keep this in mind.
You are expected to register on the guild forums since the forums are needed for guild communication. The guild forums are located at
http://www.redefined-bh.com.
You are expected to be on time, at the raid zone, fully repaired and prepared for guild raids. You should have the interface add-ons, reagents, consumables and any other items you will need to be a helpful part of a successful raid.
You are expected to be on Vent during guild raids to listen to instructions. You do not need a working microphone to listen. Please use a push to talk key during guild raids.
If you have questions, comments or complaints during the raid please tell your class leader using a private whisper or class channel. It is the class leaders' responsibility to resolve your issues and answer your questions to the best of his/her ability. If you are not satisfied with the resolution consult the raid leader or a guild officer using a private whisper.
Do not go afk unannounced if it can be avoided. Extended and frequent afk time is not appropriate during raids. The raid leader may choose to boot and replace the afk person with someone waiting to get into the raid.
Do not come to the raid with a PvP flag and do not engage in any PvP during a raid or while waiting for the raid to start. This causes problems with buffing, auras, aoe spells, etc. and delays raids.
Keep all chat in raid channel to a minimum, raid chat should mainly be used by raid leaders, pulling messages and other needed raid info. Refrain from unnecessary chat in general channels as well.
If you would like to run an instance that has a reset timer with another group besides the guild please clear it with your class leader or an officer first.
Rank Structure Guild Officers: Belladonia
Niqkle
Class Leaders: Tanks - Open
Healers - Niqkle
Casters - Lyshia
Melee DPS - Bruic
Hunters - Mustafa
All ranks are expected to follow guild rules, including officers and class leaders.
Alt- A member’s alternate character(s). A limited number of alts may be allowed on a raid, and only if they are not taking the spot of a member who needs loot from that raid. Alts shall not receive any items over a guild member. Alts earn and use DKP for the main character.
Class leaders- Are responsible for recruiting, promotions, demotions, removing players and granting access to guild bank materials within their class. Any questions, comments or concerns should be addressed to your class leader first.
Friend/Family- A friend or family of a member of the guild.
Member- A raiding member of the guild with less than 50% attendance for 30 days or more.
Raider- This is the normal guild rank. Raiders are expected to attend most raids and voice their opinion on guild affairs and strategies. They are expected to review the forums and have read important threads. They should also guide and assist new recruits of their class, and set a good example for all recruits. Raiders will have priority on raid invites and looting over recruits.
Officer- Set, revise, and enforce guild policy. Officers share various duties, including recruitment, attendance, and loot distribution, among others.
Probation- A member or recruit is placed on probation for continuing to violate guild policies, rules, or other inappropriate actions. Individuals on probation have the lowest loot priority. The probationary period will continue until the behavior is corrected or until the individual is removed from the guild.
Recruit- Recruits are trial members. They are expected to adapt to guild methods and strategies without argument. All recruits should rely on guild members of their class for help. The recruit trial period varies and class leaders and guild officers will decide membership status.
DKP We use a fixed price DKP system in Redefined for official raids. DKP is awarded for attending guild raids. All loot is assigned a fixed DKP value. If interested in an item members will send a tell to the designated player and the member with the most DKP will be awarded the item. If there is a tie or two players (or more) are within 10 DKP of each other, then a roll is used as a tie breaker.
An on time half point will be awarded to those in the raid and at the designated raid zone at the start time. An end of raid bonus half point will be awarded to those members that stay from the on time point until the end of the raid.
Loot priority is as follows: raiders, members, recruits, friend/family, alts, and probation. The guild officers may over ride and give priority on items if they deem it necessary.
If a member cannot join a raid because it is full the member shall receive full credit on all encounters for which attendance is taken while they remain online, at the raid zone and available to replace a member that must leave. Guild members are permitted to log alts while waiting, as long as an officer is informed.
Off spec items- for this to apply it MUST be an item that is up for DE, you cannot get this discount or the item at all if anyone in the raid needs the item for their main spec. Items that are not for your main spec (ex: shadow priest gear for a healing priest) are no cost/dkp. This is to encourage people to take gear that could help them and avoid some void crystals. When sending a tell for the item please say if it's for off spec or not when bidding. If multiple people want the same item off spec there will be a roll off and officers will have final discretion regarding who gets the item. This will be limited to one item per run unless the item is a complete rot.
Any dkp issues and concerns are to be addressed to your class leader first. If you have further concerns with your dkp then you may present the issue to a guild officer.
As a raider or recruit to the guild your attendance at raids is expected. If you cannot attend a raid then it is your responsibility to post of the attendance forums of your albescence or lateness. Failure to post about absence or lateness will result in a -10 DKP penalty. Continued failure to post about your attendance may result in probation or removal from the guild.
DKP Decay:
There will now be a dkp decay. This will only effect those that have not made one raid in 30 days or more. After 30 days of not making a raid you will lose 33% of your dkp. After two months, you will lose 66% total and the third month you will have 0 dkp. The reduction is based off your initial dkp, not compounded on top of each other.

The Guild Bank The guild bank is used as a central collection point for all loot obtained during guild raids and is managed by the guild officers. All items of common value (white) or greater should only be looted by officers or class leaders during raids unless stated otherwise. All items that are looted during guild raids are to be mailed to the guild bank unless stated otherwise. This includes items obtained from professions.
If you would like to obtain an item from the guild bank please contact your class leader. Some items may have a DKP cost. Items obtained from the guild bank are to be used by you only. Members caught selling, trading or giving guild bank items to other players are no longer able to obtain items from the guild bank and further disciplinary measures may be pursued.
This code of conduct is subject to change and/or update by the guild officers.
